gWallet (a San Francisco-based social games company which launched in August) just announced $12.5 million in its first round of funding from venture firms Adam Street Partners, Trinity Ventures and other investors.
gWallet is a “virtual currency platform for social media”. The company works directly with advertising agencies to figure out ads and offers can work best in social games. Their monetization platform aims to revolutionize the industry standard by improving targeting methods and the like. As of today gWallet is $12.5 million closer to their social gaming goal.
