Android, Casual, Mobile, Rhythm

The newest entry in the Guitar Hero series is now available on the Android Market and Blackberry App World. The title is called Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile: Backstage Pass, quite a mouthful, and was created by Hands-On Mobile, Inc. in partnership with Activision Publishing, Inc.

After being kicked out of a band just before a huge world tour, players start their own band and begin their legacy as a rock god. Players will have to promote their band and music, build street cred, create demo tapes, handle interviews, rehearse songs and rock out at a variety of venues, the goal being to sign deals and rise to the top of the charts. The official website is advertising over 25 hours of gameplay. There is also a companion website listed as an integral part of the game. The website will allow players to go online and download new music and guitars, as well as challenge other users from around the world.

The game is selling for $4.49 for both the Android and Blackberry markets now.
