Console, Rhythm

Yesterday, Harmonix and MTV Games announced that the demo for Green Day: Rock Band is now available to download on both Xbox Live Marketplace and on the PlayStation Network.

Both 360 and PS3 users will be able to play through the same two songs included in the demo: “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and “Welcome to Paradise.” Both songs are the full, original versions, and can be played on all of the game’s difficulty settings in order to get a true feeling for what the final game will be like.

Green Day: Rock Band is set to include 47 on-disc songs, spanning the length of Green Day’s career as a band. It will also feature the “three-part harmony” technology first seen in The Beatles: Rock Band. For a look at the complete track list, check out our coverage from last month.

Green Day: Rock Band is scheduled to be released on June 8 for Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and the PlayStation 3.
