iPad, iPhone, Mobile

With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.

Graveyard Shift

Tower destruction games are not new to the iPhone but Graveyard Shift does things with a sense of style, with having your wrecking ball being a ragdoll skeleton. Much like Saving Private Sheep, must simply drop the skeleton into the coffin or under it. While the game is mostly straight forward, it does get more complicated at times with completely accurate timing being crucial to game completion.

In their review, Slidetoplay said that Graveyard Shift is “beautiful, with crisp textures and lots of flair like large explosions” and that it has plenty of replay value to keep players coming back time and time again for their ragdoll skeleton fix.

Pac-Match Party

A new match 3 game, Pac-Match Party doesn’t do a whole lot to turn this oft-used puzzle genre on its head, but manages to stay fun for long enough. Ghostly graphics and sweet treats fill the board, and it’s up to you to match combinations to eliminate those pieces from the board. On the iPhone, it requires nothing more than a simple swipe to complete.

TheAppEra reviewed the game and were rather unimpressed with the whole package. In their review, they complained about lag, but their main issue was that there is no defining feature to set it apart from other Match 3 games, and therefore make it worth your while.
