Glee to Cast Using MySpace

Sun, Apr 4, 2010

Perhaps surfing around on MySpace wasn’t a bad way to spend last night after all. Fox’s hit show Glee is going to be using MySpace to cast some new characters for the show. MySpace and Glee already have a partnership but this move takes it to the next level.

Now, sure, MySpace is not as popular as it once was but it sill has plenty of relevance and millions of members that continue to keep their profiles updated. Using YouTube, applicants can upload videos of themselves belting their best notes out for a chance to be on the show. To apply, you must submit personal information, a recorded statement and a song. Videos can only be five minutes in length and must feature only one person.

Are you up to the challenge? Matthew Morrison explains things in further detail in the below video.
