Gibbets Flash Game Comes to iPhone

iPhone, Mobile

Tatem Games has brought their popular (albeit incredibly morbid) flash game Gibbets to the iPhone in the form of iGibbets.

iGibbets, which will set you back just 99 cents, tasks you with firing a bow and arrow so that it strikes and severs ropes that are literally hanging men. Aim too high or too low and you miss or skewer the man, respectively, making the game an experience that’s definitely not safe for kids, and probably not safe for work. Oh, and there’s blood… and screaming.

Maybe I’m just weird, but that sounds like an absurd recipe of success to me. For those who were fans of the flash game (playable in full, for free, at this link), rest well knowing that iGibbets includes all of the levels and content found in the original, and, according to Finger Gaming, will be receiving free content updates in the future.

Here’s a gameplay video (complete with a real finger for scale) to give you a better idea of what to expect.
