One of the biggest, if not the biggest complaint users have with Restaurant City is the time limit set on the amount of time a single employee can work, which is currently four hours. This means that in order to earn the most amount of profits possible in a 24 hour period, you need to login and play the game at least 6 times, in order to give your employees another round of treats to keep them working for another 4 hour period.
Playfish has addressed this issue with a huge announcement this week – soon, treats will be a thing of the past, and we’ll be able to “cook around the clock!” Let me repeat that – once Playfish launches this new change (for now, you can just learn about it via a pop-up that loads when logging into the game), we will be able to cook for 24 hours straight.
It’s not been made clear as to whether we’ll still have to pay our employees to work, or exactly how this new “cooking around the clock” will be setup, but the news that a change is coming is reason enough to celebrate.
What do you think of being able to cook for 24 hours in Restaurant City? Should Playfish stay with the four-hour blocks, or is this a win-win for everyone, even if we, speculatively, have to pay more to keep our employees working while we’re not there? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
