To put it simply, textPlus offers free, unlimited texting on your iPhone. No really – sending messages is totally free, and you can send as many texts as you want, to as many people as you want, even if the recipient doesn’t have textPlus, or even an iPhone.
If your friends wish to contact you, instead of you being the initiator, they can also send you messages to your textPlus client. If they’re using their own text plan, they will face their normal charges, but you will receive them for free.
Group chat is also supported, which is great for those who wish to tell the same story to multiple friends – just text them all as a group and each member gets the messages, and can see the replies of other users.
