iPhone, Mobile

Today’s free iPhone app at is Rhythm Spirit, from Monad.

The game is a mix between a rhythm game and a fighting game that follows Toshi, a swordsman who receives an odd power from a fox spirit. This leads to Toshi becoming entangled in a weird universe, caught in a battle between the demons and the deities of his ancient land.

In Rhythm Spirit, you fight your enemies by using musical cues. Cues will approach a central dot from both the left and the right, and you’ll have to tap on them when they reach the center, in time to the music playing in the background.

The game contains ten music tracks, mixing electronica with traditional Japanese instruments, played throughout ten levels. There are multiple difficulty settings to accomodate all skill-levels of players, and  trophies available to unlock as you play the game successfully.

If you’d like to try Rhythm Spirit, make sure to download the game while it’s free today.
