Today’s free iPhone app at FreeAppADay.com is Toodledo – To Do List, from Toodledo and Jake Olefsky.
It’s been a long time since the featured free app was a non-game, but that’s exactly what we have today, as Toodledo is a task and note manager, both for the iPhone and iPad. The app will help you organize your to-do list and notes, complete with various options that allow you to star particular tasks so they stand out, create a list of tasks that repeat on a schedule of your choice and so on.
The notebook section of the app will allow you to take longer, free-form notes that aren’t associated with any one particular task, while back in the Tasks section, you can customize your view of your tasks by browsing different folders, tags, due dates, and so on. The app will keep track of the tasks that are Overdue, and allow you to browse those through the Due Dates folder, as well as allowing you to apply filters to make the most important tasks stand out, and the non-important tasks receive less attention.
While the app can be used as a standalone app, you can also connect your lists with Toodledo.com, in order to sync your lists to the website for backup purposes, and to use the additional features found on the site, including file attachments, subtasks, sharing/collaboration, rss feeds, forums, and more.
Make sure to download Toodledo – To Do List while the app is free today.
