Today’s free iPhone app at FreeAppADay.com is Tap Studio Pro, from Drop D Studios.
The game can be most easily compared to Tap Tap Revenge, but instead of relying only on pre-made note sets for particular songs in the game’s library, you can actually create tap patterns for any song on your device that you own. You can then save these patterns and play them over again, just like in Tap Tap Revenge.
In addition, the game allows you to access a library of over 50,000 songs, that other users have created taps for and added to the vault. The app automatically finds the taps in the Vault that match the songs you have on your device, or you can browse by most popular, highest rated, artist, username, and more.
The game has four different gameplay skins, or you can simply have the album art as the background. Once you complete a song, you can share your high score via Twitter integration, or send a Tap Challenge to a friend, to challenge them to beat your high score.
