FreeAppADay for 07/19/10: Digital Heist

iPhone, Mobile

Today’s free iPhone app at FreeAppADay.com is Digital Heist, from Triniti Interactive Limited.

The game is a bit like the story of Tron, in that you’ll find yourself digitized and put into the computer mainframe of the US Federal Reserve. A ring of Russian hackers wants the money inside, so you’ll go up against the Reserve’s security program to steal the money – fail and you’re trapped in the “machine world” forever.

The game comes with multiple control schemes – either tilt or touch – and sees you navigating mazes of sorts, avoiding obstacles, security cameras, and more as you make your way to the money symbol on each level. There are 24 levels to beat, each of which is playable on four different difficulty settings, providing for a total of 96 different missions in all.

Triniti has added a new Time Attack mode to the game, and the app’s most recent update now includes support for full 1024 x 768 play on the iPad. If the game sounds interesting to you, make sure to download it while it’s free today.
