FreeAppADay for 07/14/10: BBQ Pro – iGrill

iPhone, Mobile

Today’s free iPhone app at FreeAppADay.com is BBQ Pro – iGrill, from SlyYlu Limited.

The game is a “photorealistic” cooking game; that is, the graphics are designed to be as close to real world graphics as is possible on the iPhone. You’re the grill master at a crowded party, and you have to keep an eye on your steaks and hot dogs, among other food options, to make sure they don’t burn.

In the game’s Challenge mode, you unlock new food items each time you level up. You’ll watch the food turn from uncooked to cooked, and will have a limited amount of time to serve the item before it burns.

In “Grill to Order” mode, you’ll have to match the specific food requests of your guests, and will have to judge when a steak, for example, has reached medium, medium well, or well done cooking stages, all by looking at an example on the right side of the screen.

Finally, the game’s Free Play mode will give you the game’s basic gameplay without any specific directions – put the meat and vegetables on the grill and let them cook.

As you play, you’ll be able to boost your score with double and triple point combos for cooking items to perfection, and can track your high score on both local and global high score tables.

If BBQ Pro – iGrill sounds interesting to you, make sure to download the game while it’s free today.
