FreeAppADay for 04/13/10: Unify

iPhone, Mobile

As reported by FreeAppADay.com, today’s free iPhone app is Unify. Unify is a puzzle game set on the horizontal, as opposed to the vertical like in something like Tetris. Also, instead of one piece falling from the top of the screen (continuing in the Tetris reference), here, two pieces move in, one from the left and one from the right side of the screen.

The goal of Unify is to create groups of four or more like-colored squares, thus removing them from the screen. When blocks disappear, the ones to the right and left of the disappearing groups will move towards the center of the screen, triggering combos if another like-colored grouping happens to be made.

There are 40 levels to try out in Unify, plus three different Endless modes for truly unlimited gameplay. You can track your high scores and climb leaderboards via OpenFeint integration.

If you’re looking for a way to have unlimited puzzle gameplay on the go, pick up Unify while it’s free today.
