iPhone, Mobile

As reported by the folks at, today’s free iPhone app is Artifice, a strategy title from Kwigbo.

The game places you either against another real world player, or against AI opponents of varying skill levels. You’ll each be given a set of men that you’ll try to move from one side of the gameplay area to the other. The gameplay area is full of crates which block your players’ movements, so you’ll drag a single column either up or down to open the way for them to move. You can also tap and hold on one of your opponent’s pieces to change places with them.

Artifice supports OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements, auto-saving of progress, and turn-based multiplayer over the network.

If this sounds interesting to you, make sure to download the game today while it’s free.
