FreeAppADay for 03/05/10: Blackjack Revenge

iPhone, Mobile

Happy Friday everyone ! To end the work week on a high note, today’s free app will let you experience all that’s fun about blackjack while also getting back at the dealer every time he or she beats you at a hand.

Blackjack Revenge is a part of the Juju Play Community of games. The game contains all of the basics of a game of blackjack, but it adds in special twists and bonuses to make the experience more interesting. Namely, the ability to get back at your dealer each time they get a blackjack (either through a total of 21 or the face card / ace combo).

When such an event occurs, you’ll receive a REVENGE letter, which is attached to your account until you get a blackjack yourself. When this happens, your payouts are multiplied by the number of REVENGE letters currently paired to your account. In this way, it’s actually better to take a few losses via the dealer drawing a blackjack just so you can have ample REVENGE cards to dole out when you are lucky enough to return the favor.

Once you sign up for the Juju Play Community, you can participate in in-game chats, earn achievements and show off badges to other users around the community, even those playing in other games.

(Note: If the app isn’t listed as free when you attempt to download it, have patience, as, according to the FreeAppADay website, some users are running into technical problems, which are actively being investigated and hopefully fixed, even as you read this)
