Facebook, Location-Based, Social

Maybe F0ursquare and Facebook can get along after all. Remember me last week telling you about how they’re getting ready to compete? Well, maybe it won’t turn out quite like that. Some interesting statistics have been revealed about the two’s relationship and how Facebook helps Foursquare more than originally thought.

The most interesting statistic is that Facebook is the driving factor behind most of the traffic to Foursquare with 33%. Google is right behind with 22%, followed by Twitter after that. So maybe the two will actually still get along in the long run. I know personally I am not one to simply switch social networks at random so I still don’t know how this will affect me yet.
