One of the biggest things in gaming used to be going into the arcades, slamming down some quarters and attempting to get the highest score possible. Those days are far over–most arcades have closed up shop, and finding some of the classic arcade games of the past has been relegated to downloadable games through home consoles and mobile phones.
Over at Mashable, they’ve created a list for would-be nostalgic arcade gamers looking for a fix on the iPhone. The five games are as follows:
- Pang: Pocket Pong ($0.99)
- Space Invaders ($4.99)
- Pac-Man ($4.99)
- Frogger ($0.99)
- Duck Hunt ($0.99)
All of these games are apparently faithful representations of their arcade counterparts. Which games on the list would you have liked to see included? Are there arcade games that you wish would come to the iPhone?
Personally, I had not heard that Duck Hunt was available on the iPhone. Knowing this now, I might have to reconnect with my old duck shooting past.
