FishVille Provides Yet Another Easter Egg Hunt to Participate In

Fishville, Social

Similar to the setup found in FarmVille’s Spring Basket event, the FishVille Easter Egg Basket Event (what a mouthful) asks you to collect Easter Eggs from your friends and then gives you the opportunity to redeem them for Easter and Spring related goodies within the game.

Eggs can be sent to friends from the game’s free gifts page, in the same way you’d send any other free gift. Additionally, just like in the FarmVille Spring Basket event, you can enter into a reverse gift-giving process that sees you asking for eggs from your friends after you hit the “Ask for Eggs” button from within the Easter Basket icon in the top right corner of your tank. If you friends agree to send you an egg, they’ll receive a bonus for themselves for doing so.

From within the Easter Basket, you’ll also have the opportunity to compare your total eggs with your friends, to see who has collected the most for bragging rights.

If you need a boost of eggs, or you’re without active FishVille neighbors, you can purchase a lot of 5 eggs from the game’s store for 5 Sand Dollars.

It should be noted that the Easter Basket’s prizes require far less eggs than those in FarmVille (due presumably to the lessened popularity of FishVille in comparison to FarmVille), so if you play both games, don’t fear about not collecting all of the items in FishVille. Just 2 eggs will earn you a prize, and none of the six prizes costs more than 20 eggs, which is definitely a good thing.

Head over to the FishVille game page to start collecting these eggs while you still can!
