Firefly Night Sees the Light of Day

Casual, iPhone, Mobile

I like to think that most of us have fond memories of catching fireflies on a clear, dry night. The bit with the flying bombs and gigantic spiders, that part I don’t remember. Thankfully, TriplePoint client Frozen Giant Games has rekindled those memories with Firefly Night, their very first game ever. It is available now on the App Store for a mere 99 cents.

Firefly Night really is pretty to look at, and to listen to, with colorful, dancing lights and soothing music. It almost puts you in a serene mood, right before the game ramps up difficulty-wise with bombs and spiders, and overloads you with too many fireflies of the wrong colors. At least the Frog King is there for you on that last problem. Add in OpenFeint support with leaderboards and over 70 achievements, and Firefly Night makes for a tricky, engaging little game.

Check it out for yourself on the App Store, right here: Firefly Night

I downloaded this game, it's actually decieiving how “simple” it looks, Hard mode starts out quite easily enough but man, it gets crazy. And one of the best looking iphone games out there.
