Finger Physics: Thumb Wars will provide more of the same from the original Finger Physics and beyond. The game’s most notable features are its 80 new levels, that see you being asked to build, destroy or otherwise interact with geometric shaped pieces on the playing field, with goals like making an orb fall into a bucket, as an example.
In addition to the game’s 80 new levels, there are multiple ratings on which to track your progress – either a personal leaderboard that lets you challenge your own high scores, or the global and national online leaderboards, that let you compare your total against people from your state, or all around the world.
You’ll be able to earn achievements in the game thanks to OpenFeint integration, and you’ll be able to download even more new levels, apparently on a monthly basis, after the game launches.
“Finger Physics started under the guise of PressOK’s ‘Rogue Development Project’ program and turned in to our most popular iPhone game,” said Alex Koloskov, VP of Development for PressOK Entertainment, via a company press release. “We can’t wait to launch Finger Physics: Thumb Wars, which takes the existingFinger Physics formula and injects even more awesome. Finger Physics: Thumb Wars is the first of multiple extensions for the Finger Physics franchise.”
Finger Physics: Thumb Wars is set to release later this month for $1.99, with a free Lite version also being in the works. Here’s the debut trailer for the game:
