iPhone, Mobile

Mashable.com has reported that the first two entries in the famed Final Fantasy series (I & II) have released on the iPhone’s app store. If you are one of the many fans who were just dying to get some RPG action on the go, now you have the chance to blast some foes in random battles anywhere you go. Each of the games can be had for a price of $8.99 each. These versions are similar to the PSP versions released a few years ago that featured updated graphics.

To put a damper on confusion, the version of Final Fantasy II released on the App store is the original Japanese game, not the American Super Nintendo version of Final Fantasy IV that was released as Final Fantasy II.
