Facebook May Have ‘Tagging’ In Location Feature

Facebook, Location-Based, Mobile, Social

The oft-rumored Facebook location features have certainly caught the eye of many on the social networking platform. With these new features clearly on the horizon, Facebook had to make changes to its privacy policy and DigitalBeat surely took notice.

In the privacy policy, Facebook makes reference to ‘tagging’ with this excerpt:

If another user tags you in a photo or video or at a place, you can remove the tag. You can also limit who can see that you have been tagged on your profile from your privacy settings.

Meaning that someone could tag a person that is at a certain location. What this means in the implementation is unknown but it will be interesting to find out what happens at F8.
