The popular free-to-play hit and Triplepoint client Regan Mercantile’s Evony has announced its first anniversary and has invited all 19 million of its players to join the celebration. The game first launched in May 2009 as Evony: Age I, Evony and has enjoyed success and praise from its fan base which has players from 191 countries. As the company recently released Evony: Age II, they expect the success to only continue in the future.
Walt Yarbrough, Vice President of Operations at Regan Mercantile, commented on the game’s birthday: “This is an amazing moment for the Evony team, all made possible by a community that has shown us amazing support over the game’s first year, our goal with the Evony franchise is to achieve player happiness through engaging gameplay and a low barrier to entry. The new expansion for Evony titled Evony: Age II includes new quests, a redesigned interface, Facebook integration, new and creative ways for players to build, alliance forming with friends, and enemy conquering all within the convenience of the browser.
