The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that they are expecting there to be about 40-45,000 professionals in attendance at E3 2010 taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles next week. As IndustryGamers points out, today, June 9th is the last day for pre-registration for the event on E3Expo.com.

The ESA commented on the potential attendance: “To help ensure attendees have a positive experience and are able to conduct business efficiently, we have to limit attendance to avoid congestion.”

This year is going to likely be the most interesting E3 since 2006 due to Microsoft and Sony ready to showcase their new motion controlling systems as well as Nintendo showcasing their new 3GS. Here’s another exciting tidbit: Frisky Mongoose will be at the show and will provide you with the most exciting news from the event. Stay tuned next week for the coverage to rock your socks off!
