iPhone, Mobile

Sesame Workshop knows how to connect with kids. From Sesame Street the TV show, to the multiple lines of toys, video games, clothing, and much more, they simply know what young children (and parents) like, and how to give it to them.

As reported on Mashable, Sesame Workshop has continued to grow the brand’s all-encompassing nature by releasing an iPhone app surrounding one of Sesame Street’s most iconic characters: Elmo.

Elmo’s Monster Maker is an intuitive children’s game that allows children the chance to create their own monster by simply tapping on a template to pop-in eyes, a nose, hats, and so on. Multiple taps cycle through different options until your child is satisfied with their creation. Afterwards, Elmo will commend them on their work and will even interact with the newly created monster on screen.

While the experience is lacking in longevity, young children are sure to love the customization options here. For more information about the app, check out this video, starring Elmo himself.
