iPhone, Mobile

With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.

eBoy FixPix

eBoy FixPix’s concept really could not be more simple: Tilt your iPhone in order to align the pictures correctly. There are two layers to the photo you’re aligning, so it’s a smart idea to make sure you know how the picture should look. Although it seems that the game can be rather confusing to start with as no tutorial is given.

In their review, TheAppEra said that the game “is a great new puzzle game on the iPhone, and one that does a marvelous job at doing what it is supposed to do – even though you begin without a clue of your objective” and that they overall recommended it.

Price: $1.99.

iShoot 2

Like many games such as Worms or Scorched Earth, iShoot 2 has one simple objective: Shoot artillery shells at your opponents until you are the last tank standing. Strategy in choosing your weapons and which tanks to kill is what will give you the advantage in iShoot 2.

In their review, Slidetoplay said the game was not as good as newer titles such as Kil.A.Ton or Star Hogs that have additional features such as online multiplayer that iShoot 2 does not. Overall, they were hoping that “iShoot 2 improves with future updates, but until then, we can’t give it our very highest recommendation.”

Rating: 2 out of 4.

Price: $2.99.
