Location-Based, Mobile

If you want to have a pretty easy way of earning some Facebook credits, MyTown appears to be a good, free way to go about doing that. The two companies have announced a partnership where MyTown players can either check into locations and earn credits or complete virtual item sets to get the free Credit goodness.

“We’ve always wanted to understand how we can drive traffic from other platforms into our product,” Keith Lee, Booyah’s CEO told InsideSocialGames. “And secondly, we want more people to get use our app with Facebook Connect. It’s a really great synergistic aspect.”

This seems like a good way to get people to use MyTown more than they already have. If you’re earning something by checking-in, why wouldn’t you?
