During a recent earnings call, EA announced a few details of its E3 plans, in confirming a new Need For Speed game as well as brand new titles for Sony’s PlayStation Move and Microsoft’s Natal devices.
John Schappert, Cheif Operating Officer at EA stated: “This year you’re going to see a strong portfolio of blockbuster titles from EA,” and confirmed that EA Sports will be in full force at E3 with Madden NFL 11, FIFA 11, NHL 11, NBA Live 11, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 and a followup to EA Sports Active.
“We will also unveil games that make use of the new motion controllers from Sony and Microsoft,” One of which is likely to be Tiger Woods as it has been previously confirmed that the newest title would have PlayStation Move support.
Along with the new Natal and Move offerings, EA will also be showcasing the new Need For Speed, Dead Space 2 and Medal of Honor. On the casual side, Schappert confirmed that a new Harry Potter game will also be shown along with a few titles from the EA Hasbro division.
EA Partners will also be showing Bulletstorm from Epic, Crysis 2 from Crytek and Star Wars: The Old Republic from LucasArts and Bioware. Lastly, Schappert also said that EA will show a “key title in breathtaking 3D”.
