E3 2010: Microsoft’s Natal Now Kinect

Casual, Console

Just before Microsoft’s big Cirque de Soleil event at the Gala Center in LA, USA Today broke the news that Natal has its official name, Kinect. Kinect, pronounced “Connect” is likely to promote the idea that you are connecting with the games like never before.

Kinect looks to compete with the other two consoles, where Sony is promoting its new Move project and Nintendo’s marketshare has shown that motion control is a way to bring in those who have never even played a video game before.

The full set of Kinect games is set to be revealed this week at E3, and we’re here in Los Angeles to cover it! Keep an eye on our home page all week for the latest updates directly from the event.

So, what do you think of the new name? Let us know in the comments section below.
