iPhone, Mobile

With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.

Droplitz Delight

Cute and cuddly best describes Droplitz Delight as it features some bright, colorful graphics and a soundtrack that has the little dots you control singing along. The concept in Droplitz Delight is the same as the original: little droplitz fall from the top of the screen, and it’s your job to guide them safely to the bottom. As soon as one droplitz reaches the bottom, new tiles appear adding to the challenge. Featuring several different modes to master, Droplitz Delight is a game that would be hard to put down.

In GameZebo‘s review they said the game was much less difficult than the first Droplitz and has turned the cuteness way up. Although, “It may not be enough to entice fans of the original to re-buy, but if you’re new to the series, Droplitz Delight is a charming, addictive, and surprisingly original puzzle experience.”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

A new castle defense/attack game best describes TheSlayers, which has you fighting to the death with an opposing kingdom. Along with being able to build an army, you will also have control of a ‘hero’ character that you can control and kill your enemies with.

Slidetoplay reviewed the game and said it was “a game where repetition is the only way to advance” and that “You’ll mash on the attack button hundreds of times in a normal battle, knocking down the health of your enemies without performing any interesting combos, even though you do have some special moves with a cooldown timer.”

Rating: 2 out of 4.
