TriplePoint client dreamfab is happy to report that The Lost Shapes, a new iOS puzzler, is headed to the App Store on March 8th. Apparently the shapes were on a chess board, being used to play Magic Chess with a bunch of wizards, so we can stop looking all over for them. Personally, if I’d been playing chess against a wizard, I would have remembered that was where I left all my shapes, but I guess that’s just another day for dreamfab.

In their own magic words:

Prepare for a brain tease with the art of Magic Chess, a game which revives the power of ancient shapes, sun, stars, and moon, and is all the rage among magical folk! Follow your teacher, Willow, a wizard with a mysterious past, as he trains you to rebuild such shapes within a limited amount of time with decorated tiles that can be lined up to form shapes and patterns in Shape Mode and Survival Mode.

The Lost Shapes apparently also involves using bombs and nukes during these friendly matches of Magic Chess. Truly, chess is a calm, intellectual pursuit.
