On Tuesday, TriplePoint client Lima Sky announced that Doodle Jump has passed over 3 million paid downloads since its launch last fall.
The game challenges users with guiding Doodle the Doodler up a sheet a paper, using accurate tilt controls to not only guide Doodle, but also pick up items like jet packs, avoid obstacles like black holes, and even take out enemies with nose ball blasts.
The game’s cheap price tag of $0.99, along with Lima Sky’s dedication to adding new content (over 25 free updates have been released thus far) have helped earn the game a spot atop the iPhone App Stores top paid app leaderboard in the US, UK, Germany, and Australia, just for starters.
With 1.6 million units moved in 2010 alone, Doodle Jump is currently the top selling app of the year. If you’d like to help the game keep its top ranked status, head over to ![]()
