Anyone can recommend a good app — that’s a lot of what we do here at Frisky Mongoose, in fact. If you recommend apps using an app, however, you may have some problems: according to an article this morning on PocketGamer, a new spate of recommendation and sharing apps have found themselves on the business end of Apple’s rejection policy since “filtering, bookmarking, searching, or sharing recommendations are not considered as significantly different from the App Store.” That’s the wording that came via an Apple rejection email to an anonymous developer that shared their story with PocketGamer, and it doesn’t bode well for a number of App Discovery Apps.

The full story of one developer’s woes can be read in the article, here.
