Zynga has added a new ribbon set to FarmVille that ties into the game’s new item collection feature.

The Cunning Collector ribbon is available to those who complete full collections within the game, a task that, so far seems to be much easier said than done.

Each collection contains six items, and the appearances of most of these items are random at best. Others require that you send them to friends through the game’s Free Gifts feature, while the rarest items are earned for helping complete tasks on your friends’ farms (made so rare by the fact that some users may not have as expansive an in-game friends list as others).

If you wish to go for the set of four ribbons, Social Games Help has discovered how many collections you’ll need to complete to reach each stage:

• Yellow Ribbon: 2 Complete Collections
• White Ribbon: 25 Complete Collections
• Red Ribbon: 50 complete Collections
• Blue Ribbon: 100 Complete Collections

Even completing a single collection seems to be rather impossible at this point, so best of luck to anyone who actually wants the blue ribbon here.
