The makers of Country Life seem to be taking a renewed interest in competing with the likes of FarmVille, by offering another new game update (the brevity between this update and the most recent blows the game’s previous update schedule out of the proverbial window).
This update comes in the form of land expansions; however, this isn’t a simple land expansion that will allow you to plant more crops. Instead, this is a set of three yard expansions (small, medium and large) where you can place animals, decorations and machinery. According to Social Game Central, you can place anything on the new yard spaces except for crops.
Ultimately, these expansions (which can be purchased for 60, 70, or 80 RC, or for coins once you’ve recruited enough neighbors to unlock access to them) will serve as a placemat for the game’s homes, which will apparently be coming to the game soon.
It’s nice to see the game release an update that isn’t a true copy and paste of something done by FarmVille in the past, and it will be interesting to see if the game’s farmhouses continue in that trend.
