One of the biggest complaints that I’ve heard from new users in FarmVille is that fuel is too hard to come by. Sure, for higher level players, who know all of the ins and outs of finding fuel, or even for those who simply have a ton of FarmVille neighbors to post fuel to their walls, the prospect of earning it becomes far less daunting. However, for those newer players, or those who seem to run out of fuel regardless of their in-game level, Zynga has added the ability to purchase fuel using coins to the game’s marketplace. However, there’s a catch.
The only way you’ll be able to use your coins to purchase fuel is if you first complete a Co-Op Farming mission. You can complete the mission at any medal level, it simply needs to be completed successfully and not failed. After doing so, you’ll see two fuel options in the store – one for purchasing a single can of fuel and the other for a 5 fuel refill bundle.
The gas is actually relatively inexpensive, when thinking of how much time the fuel can save you in the game. The single can costs 10,000 coins, while the 5 fuel refills bundle costs 50,000 coins. You’ll only be able to purchase one of the items per day – sure, it would be great if we could purchase an unlimited amount, but that would surely affect the game’s economy in a negative fashion (no more Fuel for Farm Cash purchases), so Zynga’s decision to limit their sale makes sense.
If your gas tank is nearing empty, or if you just want to make sure it never reaches that point, make sure to head over to your farm and complete a Co-Op Farming mission as soon as you can to unlock access to these cans of fuel.
