Fishville, Social

A new collectible feature has come to FishVille in the form of a Mushroom Mound. If you’re familiar with Zynga’s other collection features, even the FishVille Easter Egg Basket, you’ll know how this works. Every user has a free Mushroom Mound which can be accessed in the top right corner of the screen.

When opened, you’ll see how many mushrooms you’ve collected, as well as be able to track your progress towards earning one of the six items available to earn in the event. The items fit in with the Limited Edition Fanta-Sea item theme, with new items being unlocked at the 3, 6, 8, 16, 20 and 30 mushroom marks.

To earn more mushrooms, you can wait for your friends to send them to you as gifts from the game’s free gifts menu (where you can also choose to send them to your friends), or you can click on the “Ask for More” link in the Mushroom Mound menu proper, and follow the steps therein to ask individual friends (that is, those who you know actively play FishVille) to send you a mushroom for your collection.

Likewise, the Mushroom Mound menu can also be used to track your collection as compared to your friends, to see which of your friends has earned the most mushrooms in this limited time event.

Head over to the game’s page to start collecting your own mushrooms.
