Frisky Misc

Club Nintendo members, your Gold and Platinum awards for 2010 are here! Gold members (300 coins or more) will receive a nifty Nintendo 2011 calendar. Platinum status members (600 coins or more) will get a Super Mario Characters Figurine featuring Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Mario and Luigi. All you have to do is sign in and submit your mailing address. The awards will ship around the end of the year.

For the uninitiated, Club Nintendo is Nintendo’s loyalty program. Buy Nintendo games, register them at, and earn coins that you can rack up and redeem for Nintendo-themed stuff. If you buy Nintendo games, there’s no reason not to participate as your coins don’t expire; you can just keep earning coins until you have enough. And every year at the beginning of July, special awards are announced for Gold and Platinum members (folks who have earned over 300 or 600 coins in the past 12 months). Now’s the time to join, since the new Club Nintendo year has just begun.
