CitySearch Launches “cityseries” For iPad

iPad, Mobile

CitySearch has released a small video showing off their new iPad application called “cityseries”. The application is much like other applications you might have seen on the iPhone–such as “AroundMe”–but it appears to be a little bit more limited in scope.

But what it lacks in scope it definitely makes up for with an absolutely stunning presentation. The slick interface takes full advantage of the iPad’s larger display, with numerous different tiles and icons dropping down to give you a whole host of information on different shops, restaurants, bars, and more.

One of the cooler features from the video is that you’ll be able to drop down a number of different locations down in front of you and you’ll get all the essential information–phone number, reviews, etc.–and can drag the places you’re not interested in off the screen.

It appears that the cities that are fully supported by the application are: Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Austin, Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., and Atlanta.
