So far, there are nine Lunar New Year decoration items to choose from, with items like a dragon arch (a rotatable item), warrior statues and cat figurine costing anywhere from 2000 to 5600 coins, and a bonsai tree and one-time use fireworks going for between 2 and 3 Farm Cash.
One final item (not pictured) is a Horse & Carriage, which goes for 16 Farm Cash, and will reward you with 150 experience points if you choose to purchase it.
Under the Buildings tab of the marketplace, you’ll also be able to spot the Forbidden City, a massive (and massively expensive) item that will set you back a whopping 52 Farm Cash, while rewarding you with 1200 experience points in the process.
However, unlike the new Mardi Gras day item collection, the Lunar New Year celebration doesn’t end with decorations, as there are two animals available to purchase as well, in the form of a Giant Panda and a Baby Tiger (2010 is the year of the Tiger).
Both animals are harvestable after two days, with the Giant Panda costing 25 Farm Cash to purchase, while the Tiger is a few less at 22 Farm Cash. As is becoming the norm with new Farm Cash items, you can either keep these animals for yourself, or send them to friends.
The Lunar New Year items will be available in the marketplace for the next 12 days, giving you plenty of time to stock up on Valentine’s Day or Mardi Gras items before tackling these (items representing the other two holidays expire sooner).
