Console, Handheld

CBS Consumer Products has announced that its line of video games has and will grow with new titles based on two of its current primetime television hits – the crime drama NCIS, and America’s Next Top Model.

Games based on NCIS will launch worldwide in 2011, with little other information being available as of this writing, but will apparently be available on consoles, online, or through downloadable means (an Xbox 360 arcade title, perhaps?).

For America’s Next Top Model, which actually launched on June 1, you’ll be able to play as one of the Top 10 models on the series, and will be able to compete with them in categories and events concerning makeup, fashion, walking the catwalk and performing at a photoshoot. Matching the television show, after a round of events, one of the ten models will be eliminated, and you will be left hoping that it’s not you.

Aside from what appear to be mini-games, the title will allow you to converse with your competitors in an apartment, and even get tips from a coach to help you perform better your next time in front of the judges. America’s Next Top Model is now available on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS in the United States and will be launched in Australia as “Australia’s Next Top Model” later this year.
