Add a Crimson Room to Your Hotel City Resort

A new “exclusive” room has been added to Hotel City in the from of the Crimson Room. The room costs a whopping 70,500 coins to purchase, but its value is equally high, as the room will earn you both 216 coins every hour, and 216 Hotel Points, the game’s experience points.

While the Crimson Room is the main item Playfish has decided to publicize recently, via the game’s fan page on Facebook, while you’re in the game, make sure to take a look at the new Sky Room, another exclusive offering that both costs less and earns less. It costs 50,500 coins to add to your hotel, and you’ll earn 192 coins and Hotel Points per hour.

Also, a whole slew of decorative items have been added to the game’s store, with new wallpapers, wall tiles, three new beds, a chair and more all being available to purchase, mostly for coins.

Make sure to head over to the game’s page on Facebook to pick up any of these new items, or to add either Exclusive Room to your hotel.

Hire A Helper Monkey in Country Story

If you’re tired of clicking on each individual plot of land in Country Story to harvest your crops, you’ll be happy to know that you can now hire Jeb, the Helper Monkey, to do that task for you, along with clearing all of the weeds that appear after you harvest.

To be absolutely clear, a purchase of Jeb isn’t actually permanent – rather, you’re literally hiring the Monkey to work for you for a certain amount of days, purchased in week-long chunks, and the longer you hire him, the better deal you receive on your purchase.

For seven days of work, you’ll pay 7 Playfish Cash. For 14 days, or two weeks, you’ll pay 12 Playfish Cash, and finally, for 21 days, or three weeks straight, you’ll pay 15 Playfish Cash. For that price, Jeb will not only harvest all of your crops instantly, but he’ll also clear all of your weeds and can even sell your produce at a higher price.

Don’t worry though – you’ll still gain all of your experience points and points to complete quests that you would had you been clicking on each square yourself. Sounds like a pretty good setup, right? If so, head over to the game’s page to hire your very own monkey.

Send Your Friends New Free Gifts in Pet Society

If you know that you have a friend in Pet Society that likes collecting the game’s free gifts, make sure to play the game soon, as two new items are now available to send to your neighbors. The two items are the Strawberry Cone Hat (it looks as though someone has dropped an ice cream cone on the ground), and the Pelican Plushie, which will look great on the shelves of the many plushie (stuffed animal) collectors in the game.

There’s no saying when these two items will leave the free gifts page, but in recent months, Playfish has increased the turn-around rate significantly (meaning that items aren’t available as long as they once might have been, had they been released before the switch). That being the case, make sure to head over to the game’s page sooner, rather than later, to help your friends get their virtual paws on both items.

Now, new quests have been added to the mix, based around Swans. The first quest is called “Precious Eggs (i)” – we’re assuming the rest will be called Precious Eggs (ii) and so on.

The quest tells you to collect three swan eggs. For doing so you’ll receive 220 experience points and 2,000 coins. Luckily, three eggs shouldn’t be hard to accumulate, even if you only own one swan, so head over to the game’s page to start this quest.

The tree is called the Honeycomb Hive, and like other trees, it requires three different Tree Spirits to unlock: a Yellow Tree Spirit, a Turquoise Tree Spirit and a Golden Hex Spirit. The Magic Tree can be upgraded to the full three star level if you can manage to collect all of the spirits two more time (for a total of three of each Spirit).

The tokens can be earned in one of two ways – you can either buy them outright from the game’s store for 1 Playfish Cash each, or you can rely on your Country Story neighbors to send you them, as they are available via the game’s free gifts page. This of course all depends on you having multiple Country Story friends to begin with, so if you don’t, you might consider purchasing the tokens, just to finish the job faster.

It should be noted that if you had been working on adopting the Llama, but didn’t quite reach the required number of tokens, that your total has been carried over to this new animal, meaning that you don’t have to start from scratch (your work will not have been wasted). Dogs are classified as Mystery Items and are purchasable by Playfish cash only. You can get one dog for 30 Playfish cash, four for 90, and seven for 150. A dog will run around your farm, fetching items for you for free every day. Terriers will collect sticks for you, bulldogs collect stones, and golden retrievers will fetch bananas, particularly helpful if you’ve got an elephant. Stones and wood can be sold for coins. The new dog aren’t just helpful, they’re seriously cute too! You can adopt and give some dogs a loving home in Country Story today.

There are a total of 10 Roman items in the shop, all but one available for coins. All new items can be located under the Decoration Shop tab in the ‘New!’ category, and are as follows.

• Cupid Statue A statue of Cupid pouring water into a fountain. 20,000 coins.
• Lion King A lion dressed in Roman garb, riding a horse. 60,000 coins.
• Roman Archway A Roman archway entwined with vines. 5,000 coins.
• Roman Fence, pieces 1 – 6 6 different pieces of Roman fencing consisting of white columns and twining vines. 5,000 coins a piece.
• Cat Warrior A cat dressed as a Roman soldier, complete with crested helmet and spear. 3 Playfish cash.

The Pond itself is a community building project of sorts, that comes with four stages. The first stage is achievable by paying 10,000 coins in the game’s store, so long as you have 10 cement blocks available to turn in.

Cement Blocks can be given to you by your friends as a gift item from the game’s free gifts page, as seen below, or you can purchase them for 1 Playfish Cash each from the game’s store.

Once you have a Pond, you can upgrade it for more coins, and even more Cement Blocks (see above), an afterward, you’ll be able to purchase an Ugly Duckling to swim in it. The Ugly Duckling costs 40 Playfish Cash, and eats 30 units of Wheat at a time. It produces eggs worth 3,000 coins, and according to Playfish will apparently grow up after being properly taken care of, presumably into a beautiful swan. In addition, once you have a pond, you’ll be able to grow “special plants” within it.

To compensate for all of these new items, the Daily Prize page now offers five bags to choose from, so you have more bags to choose from when claiming your prize.

In other Country Story news, a new Mystery Package has been added to the game. Not to be confused with the Mystery Box previously available, this Mystery Package is a delivery from the Stork, and as such, gives you a chance at rare or otherwise expensive animals, like the Gray Bunny, in addition to more basic animals like Sheep and Cows.

You’ll have three options to choose from when purchasing a Mystery Package. You can purchase a single one for 10 Playfish Cash, buy 6 for 50 Playfish Cash or go for broke with a load of 13 for 100 Playfish Cash.
