Cafe World, Social

While Cafe World weekend updates are normally a bit hit or miss, over the past weekend, the game had three. First is the re-release of the VIP Dinner, next is the launch of a sale on spices, and finally, new rewards have been added for high level players.

Cook the VIP Dinner for an Instant Boost to Your Pocketbook

Once again, the VIP Dinner is available to cook in the game. This is a fairly low-level recipe, available to cook for free. It cooks in 18 hours, and rewards you with 104 servings, which are sold for 99 coins each. This gives you a grand total of 10,296 coins for each single stove of the dish that you cook. You’ll also ean 174 Cafe Points in the process of cooking the dish.

We’re guessing that this is another limited time release of the dish, as it periodically shows up and disappears with little warning, but Zynga has yet to confirm its “time limit” on the game’s page. We’ll be sure to let you know if and when they do.

Six Hour Thyme and Instant Spices are 20% Off

If you’re looking to add some Six Hour Thyme or some Instant Spices to your Cafe World spice rack, you might be happy to know that the 50 and 100 unit packs of both spices are now 20% off.

This puts the Six Hour Thyme 50 and 100 packs down to 34 and 57 Cafe Cash, respectively, while the Instant Thyme (due to its convenience) still costs more, at 66 and 96 Cafe Cash for the 50 and 100 packs.

Zynga has stated that this discount will only be available for a limited time, so grab the spices while you can.

New Rewards Available for High-Level Players

Finally, the last major weekend update in Cafe World saw an increase in the amount of rewards handed out to high level players. These “professional” chefs, up to level 150, will now get even more rewards when leveling up, allowing for them to own more stoves, and more serving counters than they previously could.

Zynga didn’t release any finite details as to which levels were updated, but it seems as though this is a fairly widespread change, presumably in an effort to keep high level players from becoming bored and keep them coming back for more.

Are you a high level player that wants to see how this change will impact your game? Head over to the game’s page on Facebook to do so.
