Cafe World Email List Doubles as “Dish of the Month” Club

If you thought that unlocking access to the Giant Dino Egg recipe would be the only reward for signing up to receive email updates for Zynga’s Cafe World, think again. The developer has announced further details surrounding the rewards awaiting those who sign onto the game’s email distribution list – namely, the creation of a Dish of the Month Club.

Here’s what they had to say, over on the game’s fan page:

“Hiya chefs! Café World Email Club members are enrolled in our dish of the month club! The 1st dish: A rare Dino Egg! Check your cookbook, if you’re not in the club yet, you can join there! We will never sell your information and will only send café-related emails!”

While the first dish, the Giant Dino Egg, offers a long waiting time of 3 days, for a profit of (after the cooking fee) around 3000 coins per day (dished out – pun very much intended – in one lump sum of 10800 coins at the end of day three), I doubt I’ll ever cook it simply because of the large delay, and I’m willing to bet that a lot of players feel the same way.

That being the case, we can only hope that subsequent entries in this new Dish of the Month Club are slightly more user friendly. While the Dino Egg is great for those who don’t play the game very often, since they can set it and forget it for a while, I’m guessing that those who shared their email addresses are more than just casual players.

Let us know in the comments – are you planning on putting your first new recipe to work in your cafe anytime soon?

That stinks. Sometimes flash games take up a lot of your computer's memory,
so you aren't the only one who experiences this type of issue, don't worry.
For what it's worth, you can send a note to Zynga in the Cafe World forms
