Much like the Horse Stable found in Zynga’s FarmVille, Happy Pets’ Stable is a community building project, that must first be started by purchasing the Horse Stable frame from the game’s store for 800 coins. To finish the stable, and unlock purchasing access to the five horses that are available in the game’s store, you’ll need to collect a whopping 80 materials – 10 each of 8 different items: Nails, Boards, Red Paint, White Paint, Horseshoes, Hay Stacks, Harnesses, and Bricks.
You can click on the wish button underneath any of the ingredients to post a news item to your wall asking your friends to send you any particular ingredient, or you can simply wait for them to send you the items at random via the game’s free gifts page. Conversely, you can purchase the entire Stable for Facebook Credits, if you’d like to shell out 320 of them to do so – That’s $32 for those unfamiliar with the conversion rate.
As of right now, it appears that users only have access to sending three of the eight ingredients to their neighbors. As you can see above, I have access to send Bricks, Harnesses, and Haystacks, while other players may have a different trio of items available to give.
Once you’ve completed your horse stable, you’ll receive a free horse, and will also unlock access to purchase any of the five that are currently available in the game’s store. These horses come in the traditional two varieties – those available for Facebook Credits and those for coins. The three coin horses are the Coconut, Smoke, and Palomino horses, and they’ll set you back 32,795, 35,795, or 37,795 coins, respectively. Meanwhile, the Fantasia and Cerulean premium horses aren’t any easier on the budget costing 78 Facebook Credits each, or around $8.
With so many ingredients necessary to build the horse stable, it’d be best to start sooner, rather than later, if you ever want a chance at adopting any of these horses for yourself. Head over to the game’s page to get started.
