I hope you built all of the Super Stoves that you needed in Cafe World, because that feature has now officially been stopped in the game. Don’t fear though, if your cafe is still full of lesser stoves, as a new feature has immediately replaced it, allowing us to build not Super Stoves, but the game’s new Lightning Stoves (which, as we told you previously, cook food 10% faster than a traditional stove), all with a little help from our friends.
For those who didn’t take part in the Super Stove event, which runs in the same way as this, here’s a rundown of what to expect.
To build a single Lightning Stove, you’ll need to collect ten each of four different ingredients: Science Books, Tesla Coils, Flux Switches and Vacuum Tubes. You can buy each individual ingredient for 1 Cafe Cash each (for a total of 40 Cafe Cash, if you purchased one outright, with no help from friends), or you can rely on your Cafe World neighbors to send you the parts you need.
Each user has access to sending two of the parts to friends, if they initiate the sending of a gift from the game’s free gifts page.
Conversely, you can enter the Lightning Stove progress menu (simply click on its icon next to the Spice Rack button) and ask for each individual ingredient by sending reverse gift requests to your friends. They can respond by either accepting the request and choosing to give you an ingredient via the old gifts requests page, accessible via the Facebook homepage, or they can use the Zynga Messaging Center (the red and white envelope icon on the top right of the gameplay area) to answer your pleas for help in bulk.
If past experience has taught us anything, we’ll have quite a while to build our new Lightning Stoves, as the Build-a-Super-Stove feature was launched back in April and only expired due to the release of this newest building project. That being said however, if you want a chance at replacing all of your current stoves with these new Lightning Stoves, that very well may take all of the time we’ll end up being given, so make sure to head over to the game’s page sooner, rather than later, to start asking your friends for help in building a Lightning Stove.
