The Deals on Mafia Wars items are mostly in the 25% range. Sales go up to 70% off for particular objects in a given hour. Buying 20 items will get you a separate reward.
Will people buy 20 separate items to get an unknown reward? All of the consumables are available (do people really pay for Politico Corruptos? Friend me on Facebook, I have plenty to give away instead.) The sale did push me over the top to spend 15 of my godfather points on Illegal Transaction Records as I try to finish up New York in anticipation of the new Bangkok and Western US expansions coming soon.
