Casual, Industry, Social

If there’s ever been something missing from action-adventure games, it’s… well, I don’t honestly know. But now, if I ever figure out what that is, I can put it there. By way of MMOBomb, we’ve received news that publishers Bigpoint and Square Enix have teamed up to unveil Gameglobe – a browser-based action-adventure game that comes with a nice set of world-creation tools, so you can generate your own levels for the world to run around in.

From the game’s website:

Gameglobe – It’s your action adventure game that lets you explore inspirational, fun and exciting games from creators all around the world. But that’s not all; you can create your own game too! Armed with easy and intuitive tools anyone will be able to create exciting and engaging action adventure games to easily share with everyone.

You know someone’s going to make a Final Fantasy VII world in this thing, in a game published by the owners of that same IP, and that will turn out interestingly for everyone.
