iPhone, Mobile

With so many games being released on the iTunes app store, it’s sometimes hard to keep up with which ones you should or shouldn’t be playing on your iPhone. Thankfully, we have the review round-up to show you the best games available on the app store, complete with summaries and reviews from all around the web.

Beyond Ynth

In Beyond Ynth, you play as a tiny bug, making his way through boxes, with the only real objective being to get to the other side of the box. Along the way, you’ll need the help of trampoline tumbleweeds, or lava balls to help you through the wooden box itself. Other hazards are present in the levels that can prevent you from finishing timely if you’re not careful as well.

In their review, Slidetoplay said “If you’re up to the challenge and you want a game that is sure to draw you in until you’ve mastered it, Beyond Ynth is an absolute must buy. Just know that you might lose weeks of productivity.”

Rating: 4 out of 4.

Price: $3.99.

Buck and the Coin of Destiny

Better known as the bunny from the GameStop commercials, Buck and Coin of Destiny is a platform game that has buck running and jumping to find the sacred Coin of Destiny. Much like other classic platforming games of the past, Buck can grab powerups that give him invincibility among other things that can really help through those difficult portions.

In their review of the game, AppSpy said the game “is too short and riddled with balance problems and not even the amusing cut scenes make this more than just an average title for the genre.”

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Price: 99¢.
